Newton is staffing up for a very substantial mobile robot contract. This is a very exciting first of a kind usage with more than 40 mobile robots cooperating in teams to perform nuclear utility maintenance work; replacing humans. These are actual mobile robots programmed for their functionality, equipped with and primarily guided by machine vision; not the old generation R.O.V.s (Remote Operated Vehicles) that have been previously utilized with only limited success. We believe this project to be potentially just the start of a paradigm shift in the nuclear industry to utilize robots in order to dramatically reduce the radiation dosage that has been incumbent in this type of work; thus it is expected to be the first of many such contracts.
Newton Labs is a fast growing profitable company offering excellent , long-term career growth opportunity. Compensation commensurate with experience and performance and includes outstanding benefits: stock option ownership, profit sharing, medical, dental, vision and life insurances.
